Even when there aren’t enough hours in the day, you need to feed your body what it requires to enjoy the ones you have. With the dangers of irrigated vegetables, genetically modified frankenfoods, and insanely over-priced organic items, it’s admittedly more difficult than it was for our forebears. But, it can be done (and very easily) for 25. dollars a month on average. Supergreens (in powders, tablets, or liquid) will help you stay healthy despite the best efforts of chemical industry to do otherwise.
You won’t get the calories you’ll need to avoid taking on an emaciated look, but it will give your body requirements it probably hasn’t seen in a long time. You’ll want to do your own pricing to decide what’s best for you and what you’re getting for the greatest value, but you really can’t go wrong incorporating Supergreens into your meal plan.
Before a frown quivers at your lips, don’t worry about flavor. You won’t taste them if they’re hidden in a smoothie. Smoothies are exceedingly simple to make, and they’ll
hide tastes that you find “too green” from your displeasure trigger.
Do They Really Boost Energy?
Yes. Supergreens make a sizeable difference in digestion, detoxification, and vitality. If you’re not used to having yang energy in good abundance, life will take on new meaning. Your sleep patterns will likely regulate themselves nicely as well. When your body needs energy that it’s not getting from what you’re putting into it, it has to strain and borrow what it can from other vital processes. Couple that with the toxic sludge formed of most genetically-modified foods that it’s forced to try and process through your liver and kidneys (and if you’re lucky, out of the colon) and you have a system that’s expected to perform the miraculous on dead E.
Mind you, you won’t get away from the importance of having fresh fruit and vegetables. The benefits of consuming raw organic fruit and veggies is superior to consuming them in powder form day after day. But, if you’re in a bind, financially or time-wise, you can maintain your health with a powdered supplement that contains the nutrients from the plant world, acidophilus bacteria to help fight the ‘bad’ bacteria, milk thistle to help your liver do its thing, and other useful additions like blood-cleaning dandelion.
Chlorella And Spirulina
If you opt for micro-algae powders like chlorella or spirulina, you’ll be getting everything your body needs, and then some. Microgreen algae is a formidable immunity-builder. It’s good for everyone (unless you have an allergy to algae). The powder or pills can be taken in large amounts (up to fifty pills per day) for detoxing purposes (including the removal of heavy metals). After a month, lower your intake to the recommended dosage (usually 20 pills). You can sprinkle a bit into your pet’s bowl, as well, or apply it to cuts to speed healing.
Whichever supergreen type you choose, do a bit of research on the company before buying. Find out where their veggies and algae are grown to ensure fair trade is practiced and eco-friendly processes are used that don’t contaminate and damage the planet or your food.
